Visiting Boracay on a Budget

Traveling doesn't necessarily mean spending a lot. Most of the time, people tend to be practical, including my very self.  Last March 8-10, I visited one of the world's most famous beaches - BORACAY.

Let's do a little history first, according to Wikipedia, Boracay or "Bora" as a lot will shorten it, is located 315km south of Manila.  It is derived from the local word "borac" which means white cotton.  Other credits say that the name originates from "bora" meaning bubbles and "bocay" meaning white.  All of the words mentioned will point out the powdery white sands of Boracay.
